Living Medicine is an initiatory training in the healing arts, created for those who feel called to work with energy in a way that is grounded, ethical, and deeply respectful of both the seen and unseen worlds.

Rooted in the Usui Reiki lineage practiced through the lens of shamanism and expanded through Shamanic Energy Healing, this pathway offers a clear, professional, and embodied approach to healing — one that honours tradition while responding to the realities of the world we are living in now.

I have been pracrticing the healing arts for over 20 years and over the past 14 years, I have been quietly training and mentoring some incredibly powerful healers — largely through one-to-one work and small, intimate groups.

This work has unfolded organically, away from the spotlight, rooted in relationship, trust, and deep transmission.

Now, the time has come to open this work more widely.

As the need grows for practitioners who can hold deeper, steadier, and more embodied healing spaces, Living Medicine has emerged as a formal pathway — carrying forward the essence of this work with clarity, integrity, and care.

What is Shamanic Energy Healing?

Shamanic Energy Healing is an Earth-based approach to working with the subtle body that recognises energy as alive, intelligent, and responsive.

Rather than following a fixed protocol, this work is relational.

We learn to listen — to the body, the energy field, the elements, the land, and the unseen forces that shape our inner and outer worlds.

In this tradition, healing is not something we do to another person.

It is something we facilitate by restoring balance, clearing what does not belong, and supporting the natural movement of life-force through the system.

Shamanic Energy Healing weaves together:

• hands-on and hands-off energy work

• intuitive perception and energetic discernment

• journeying and non-ordinary awareness

• elemental medicine

• ceremony, intention, and embodied presence

All practices are taught as non-medical, non-diagnostic healing arts, intended to support wellbeing, vitality, integration, and self-regulation.

Shamanic Energy Healing builds on this foundation by expanding how we:

The Living Medicine Pathway

Level 1 – Living Medicine Shamanic Energy Healer

Reiki Level 1 & 2 + Shamanic Energy Healing Level 1

Dates: 17–21 June

Location: Menorca, Spain

Level 1 opens the healing channels and offers a strong, professional foundation.
Over 5 immersive days in Menorca, you will receive Reiki Level 1 & 2 attunements alongside the foundations of Shamanic Energy Healing, learning to work with energy in a grounded, ethical, and embodied way.

Menorca’s land — stone, sea, wind, and stillness — becomes part of the learning, supporting deep integration and presence.

You will learn:

• Reiki Level 1 & 2 attunements and practice

• hands-on and distance healing for self and others

• energy anatomy and energetic boundaries

• grounding, clearing, protection, and energetic hygiene

• practitioner ethics, consent, and scope of practice

• further development of shamanic journeying

• working with the elements and spirit allies

• creating sacred space and ceremony

Requirements for this training

This training is also suitable as a refresher for practitioners who have previously completed Reiki Level 1 & 2.

Level 2 – Living Medicine Shamanic Practitioner

Reiki Master + Shamanic Energy Healing Practitioner

Level 2 is a deeper initiation into the shamanic practitioner training I terms of responsibility, refinement, and mastery.

This training will cover the key elements of becoming a shamanic pratitioner and learning the art of Extraction Medicine, Soul Retrieval, holding sacred space, community healing, groupwork, leading journey work and understanding the core concepts of this deep work.

You will receive your Reiki Master attunement and be trained in advanced shamanic healing practices, including extraction medicine and soul retrieval, alongside ancestral and elemental healing.

You will learn:

• Reiki Master training and attunement

• advanced energetic discernment and session structure

• extraction medicine (clearing intrusive energies)

• soul retrieval (restoring vitality and essence)

• ancestral and elemental healing practices

• drum and rattle work and ceremonial holding

• supervision, case studies, and practitioner integrity

• integration and aftercare

Requirements for this training

Living Medicine Level 1 /  reiki 1 & 2 and foundation module for the school of shamanic kundalini yoga & healing arts

Level 3 – Advanced Shamanic Practitioner (invitation only)

Reiki Master Teacher + Advanced Shamanic Practice

Level 3 is for experienced practitioners ready to step into deeper stewardship — teaching, transmission, and the holding of complex spaces with maturity and humility.

This training foucsses on the Shamanic Counselling element of core shamanism, working with the dead and dying through psychopomp and traing people to become reiki master teachers.

This level includes the Reiki Master Teacher pathway alongside advanced shamanic practice and spiritual guidance work.

You will explore:

• Reiki Master Teacher training and how to transmit attunements

• teaching methodology and ethical facilitation

• advanced shamanic practice and practitioner leadership

• shamanic counselling as spiritual guidance (clearly bounded, non-clinical)

• holding thresholds, transitions, and integration pathways

• supervision skills and referral discernment

• lineage stewardship, energetic responsibility, and integrity

Following the profound journey of the Schools’ 200-Hour Teacher Training and this years advanced training the new dates for 2026 are now open for registration.

This is a unique space for yoga teachers who want to lean into the deeply healing aspects of yoga and who want to deepen their understanding of Shamanic practices, and therefore incorporate more of these elements into their teaching.

THE TRAINING

The programme has been created in response to THESE TIMES and the incredible shift we have found ourselves living in. The shift into a new age has called for a new way.

This is a training for teachers who wish to expand their own resources and therefore elevate their teaching, in accordance with what we are actually meeting, in a room full of people affected by modern day living, it is indeed a training to become an informed teacher for these times.

We will cover all aspects of the medicine wheel and earth energy medicine alongside learning how to teach Kundalini Yoga through the lens of Shamanism, which in this past decade, I have found to be an incredibly potent approach to healing.

As Shamanic Kundalini Yoga teachers, we teach from an empowered and embodied space of integrity and truth and we are tuning in to the powerful ancient lineage of our ancestors, as we weave ancient and future together in each and every class. 

When I started to incorporate the drum and the rattle in my teaching, my classes became much more powerful and effective and I am excited to see more teachers out in the field teaching in this way and working with the drum as the strong tool that it is.

Enlightened by Shamanism, this system of teaching will give you a library of new series to teach, which are potent and powerful, informed, intelligent and NEW and will give you a new and fresh way to present your offerings.

THE SYLLABUS

The syllabus is broad and pioneering and this is the first training of its kind. A timely endeavour as we step into the Age of Aquarius and take up our roles as guardians of the GOLDEN AGE.

 This training has been developed to produce teachers who are primarily guided to heal and to facilitate and hold spaces for deep healing.

The Shamanic Kundalini Yoga teacher coming out of this training, will be fully trained to administer the medicine of these ancient and powerful practices in a kind, caring and compassionate way, whilst feeling fully empowered to express their own gifts and to bring forth their own unique healing abilities.

 This course has been designed for Yoga teachers who want to become Shamanic Kundalini Yoga teachers, who want to fully engage their leadership role in this time of change, who want to learn more about Shamanism as a practice for daily life.

Teachers coming out of this training will have developed the skills to lead and inspire others on their spiritual journey.

This 100-hour Shamanic Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training course has met all the requirements set out by the Yoga Alliance Professionals. This demonstrates that the course is of the highest standard and that all graduates may use the title ‘Registered Yoga Teacher’ RYT as a sign of quality training when they register themselves with Yoga Alliance Professionals.
