Welcome to Soul Adventures
Welcome to Soul Adventures
Founded by Trish Whelan in 2006, Soul Adventures has become a globally recognised space for transformational retreats, training, and healing.
At the heart of the work is a simple intention: to support people in coming back to themselves — to their bodies, their truth, their steadiness and their soul.
Trish is a the leading teacher of Shamanic Kundalini Yoga (SKY) and known for holding spaces that are both deeply powerful and profoundly grounding. Her work weaves together shamanic kundalini yoga, breathwork, soul rest and energy healing to create real, lasting transformation.
Since 2013, Soul Adventures has been presenting retreats across the world, with 2026 experiences in Menorca and Jamaica. The work has received international recognition, including the Health & Wellbeing Award for Best Retreat in 2025.
In 2024, The School of Shamanic Kundalini Yoga & Healing Arts was born, training a new generation of teachers through both a 200-hour foundational training and a 100-hour advanced programme for yoga teachers.
Soul Adventures is an invitation to return to oneself.
Hear from Trish:
“My name is Trish and I am pleased you found your way here. Nice to meet you.
I hope my work may be helpful to you, not because i have the answers but because i can share some pracrtices that can help you embody the self healer that you are.
I have been practicing the healing arts for 20 years and healing is my main focus in this lifetime.
I believe we all have the power to step into deep levels of our own self healing and it is an honour to hold open those doors for people to walk through.
Shamanic Kundalini Yoga (SKY) is a poweerful tool for embodiment in these times.
I get to witness so much healing in action and for that, I am in deep gratitude.
You can see full details of what I do on this site and if what I do resonates with you, or you would like to discuss anything further, have any questions or would like to join us for a retreat experience or work with me 1 : 1 then do please get in touch.”
Trish Biography
Trish Whelan is a specialist in embodied transformation, guiding people back into their bodies, their power, and their steadiness in a world that often pulls them out of it.
She is the founder of Soul Adventures and The School of Shamanic Kundalini Yoga & Healing Arts, where she trains teachers, leads transformational retreats, and creates spaces for deep, grounded change.
Trish’s work weaves together shamanic kundalini yoga and energy healing — not as concepts, but as practical, embodied tools that support real life. Her approach is known for its depth, integrity, and the ability to create profound shifts both in-person and online.
Before stepping fully into this path, Trish spent 25 years at the heart of the London music industry, running The Mean Fiddler, Londons premier live music venue at the time: Trish also worked at Island Records worked with artists like Tricky, Soul II Soul before spending a decade with award winning record producer Nellee Hooper running his studio and label, and working internationally with artists including U2, The Smashing Pumpkins, No Doubt, Bjork and Gwen Stefani.
It was within this high-pressure, high-performance world that she was first called towards healing - beginning studies in reiki, kundalini yoga, and shamanic practice across the UK, India, and the US.
In 2008, she brought her worlds together through her work with the Joe Strummer Music Foundation, supporting emerging artists and community music initiatives globally.
For the past 14 years, Trish has been based in the Balearic Islands, dedicating herself fully to her work. Through her retreats, trainings, and private programmes, she has guided thousands of people - from creatives to leaders - through deep transformation.
Her spaces are known for their warmth, honesty, and power … supporting people to regulate their nervous systems, reconnect to themselves, and step into who they are here to be.
“I believe we all carry an inner knowing — a place within us that can meet life with steadiness, truth, and power.”
“In many shamanic societies if you came to a medicine person complaining of being disheartened, dispirited, or depressed, they would ask you one of four questions …
When did you stop dancing?
When did you stop singing?
When did you stop being enchanted by stories?
When did you stop finding comfort in the sweet
territory of silence?””
