A Shamanic Kundalini Yoga and Healing Retreat in Menorca

A healing immersion in Shamanic Kundalini Yoga, trust, surrender and coming home to yourself.

6 - 10 October 2027

There are times when trust feels natural.

The path may not be completely clear, but there is a sense of steadiness. A feeling of being connected to what is known inside. A quiet confidence that whatever comes next can be met.

And then there are the times when life shifts, when certainty disappears, when something familiar falls away. When there has been disappointment, change, loss, exhaustion or simply too much to hold for too long.

And in many respects, these are experiences so many of us are moving through now.

We are living through a time of enormous change - personally, collectively and culturally and with that can come a sense of instability, disorientation and not quite knowing what comes next.

It makes the practice of trust feel more important than ever.

In those moments, the instinct is often to reach for control.

To think harder. To anticipate. To brace. To look for reassurance.

To try to solve what cannot yet be solved.  And somewhere in that effort, the deeper connection to trust can become harder to feel.

Return to Trust is a retreat devoted to finding that place again.

Not blind faith.  Not positive thinking … not pretending that everything is fine.

But the deeper practice of staying connected to the body, to inner knowing and to life itself, even when the next step is not completely clear.

Trust is a practice

Trust is rarely something learnt once and kept forever.

It is a practice.

Something returned to again and again.

The practice of listening when the mind wants certainty.

The practice of staying present when the instinct is to rush ahead.

The practice of recognising when fear has become louder than intuition.

The practice of allowing life to unfold without needing to control every part of it.

This is something I know intimately in my own life.

Again and again, so much of the work has brought me back to the same place: trust.

Trusting what I know. Trusting the body.  Trusting the timing of things.

Trusting the moments that call for movement and the moments that ask for patience.

Trusting that something can be changing without something being wrong.

And trusting that life can still be holding us even when it looks very different from the way we imagined it would.

It is not always easy.

There are times when trust feels available and times when the pull towards certainty, reassurance and control is much stronger.

But each return brings something with it.

Relief.

The body softens.

The breath deepens.

The internal noise begins to settle.

Space returns.

And within that space, it becomes easier to hear what is true.

This is the territory of Return to Trust.

The intelligence of the body

Trust is not something that exists only in the mind.

It is felt in the body.

In the nervous system.

In the breath.

In the relationship with instinct, intuition and the ability to remain present when life feels uncertain.

This is why the body is such an important part of this work.

Because trust cannot simply be thought into existence.

The mind may understand that everything cannot be controlled, but the body may still be bracing.

The mind may know that it is time to let go, while the nervous system is still asking for certainty.

The mind may want to surrender, while something deeper is still holding on.

The work begins by meeting that honestly.

Not forcing the body to soften.  Not demanding surrender …but creating the conditions where safety can begin to be felt.

Where the grip can loosen.

Where breath can return.

Where there is enough steadiness to listen again.

The SKY practice and the return to trust

This is one of the reasons Shamanic Kundalini Yoga sits at the heart of this retreat.

The SKY practice has always been about more than movement or technique.

It brings attention back into the body.

Back to the breath.  Back to sensation.  Back to instinct.

Back to the quieter intelligence underneath the constant activity of the mind.

When life feels uncertain, attention often moves upwards and outwards.

The mind starts searching for answers.

Scanning for what might happen next.

Trying to create certainty before certainty is available.

The practice interrupts that pattern.

Breath begins to create space.

Movement brings energy out of stagnation.

Repetition settles the mind.

Meditation creates enough quiet to hear something beneath the noise.

Ritual gives meaning to what is being moved through.

And the body begins to remember that it can be present without having everything figured out.

This is where trust starts to become something more than an idea.

It becomes felt.

A greater capacity to stay with what is here.

To listen before reacting.

To notice fear without allowing fear to make every decision.

To feel the difference between urgency and inner knowing.

To soften without collapsing.

To surrender without giving away personal power.

Again and again, the SKY practice brings attention back to the same place:

the wisdom that already exists within the body.

And from there, trust begins to rebuild.

Not because uncertainty disappears.

But because the relationship with uncertainty changes.

There is less need to control every outcome.

Less need to force the next answer.

More space to listen.  More steadiness in the body.  More confidence in the ability to meet whatever comes next.

That is the return.  Not a return to certainty.

A return to trust.

The Journey

Over the retreat we will move through a journey of rest, release, reconnection and reawakening.

We will create space for what has been held in the body to begin to move.

We will explore where our energy is being lost and what genuinely restores it.

We will work with the places where we have become disconnected from our instincts, our desires and our own internal knowing.

And we will begin asking some bigger questions.

Where in my life am I simply going through the motions?

What am I carrying that I no longer need to carry?

What has become too small, too noisy or no longer true?

What brings me energy?

What brings me joy?

What am I hungry for?

What does my body already know?

What makes me feel truly alive?

For some, this retreat may be a recovery from overwhelm or burnout.

For others, it may mark a transition, a reconnection with creativity, a reclaiming of energy or simply the space to hear what life is asking of them next.

There is no single destination.  The invitation is simply to become more available to your own life.

The Practice

Our days will weave together:

Shamanic Kundalini Yoga
Powerful embodied practices to move energy, strengthen the nervous system and reconnect you with your own life-force.

Breathwork
Using the breath to shift state, create space and deepen our relationship with the body.

Meditation & Yoga Nidra
Practices that quieten mental noise, support deep rest and allow the system to integrate.

Nervous-System Regulation
Simple embodied tools to help us recognise stress responses, return to steadiness and build greater capacity for life.

Shamanic Practice & Ceremony
Working with ritual, nature, intention and the unseen to reconnect with a deeper sense of belonging and meaning.

Movement & Embodiment
Getting out of the head and back into sensation, instinct, expression and play.

Healing & Integration
Space for the work to land, for the body to process and for insights to become lived experience rather than simply another thing we understand intellectually.

And alongside all of that there will be time outside, beautiful food, rest, silence, conversation, laughter, connection and space to do absolutely nothing.

Because all of that is part of the medicine too.

Back to Life Retreat

This retreat is not about fixing yourself.

It is not about becoming more productive, more spiritual or a better version of who you already are.

It is about remembering what happens when we stop overriding ourselves long enough to listen.

When we give the body room to breathe.

When we let the noise fall away.

When we reconnect with nature, with community, with practice and with the parts of ourselves that may have been waiting quietly underneath everything else.

And from that place, something begins to move again.

Energy.

Instinct.

Desire.

Creativity.

Joy.

Possibility.

Life.

Back to Life is an invitation to return to your own rhythm, your own knowing and your own life-force.

To remember what restores you.

To remember what matters.

And to remember what makes you feel truly alive.

This retreat is especially supportive if you:

  • Feel tired at a deep, cellular level - not just busy or stressed but held in tension for too long

  • Are longing to come back into your own body - to soften, settle and relax into presence
