My work sits at the intersection of science, spirit and sound... a bridge between clinical health care and the deep wisdom of the metaphysical aspects of holistic healing ✨
Throughout my life, I’ve naturally gravitated towards roles that support and empower others to reach their full potential. My esoteric journey began in 2014 when I travelled to Kerala, India to study Yoga and Ayurveda. The experience left me feeling incredibly clear, balanced, energized, and inspired.
When I returned to the UK, everything shifted. I quit my job, ended my relationship, and headed straight back to India. I was in awe of the wisdom woven through Eastern teachings and philosophies — and wondered why such powerful knowledge isn’t acknowledged or integrated into the Western medical model.
During that trip, I immersed myself in yoga and meditation and found myself at a ten-day Vipassana (silent) meditation retreat. I became acutely aware of the energetic body - I could feel my whole body vibrating. The silence revealed a profound truth: we are energy - essentially atoms and molecules, pulsing, intelligent systems of frequency - all vibrating at different frequencies ⚛️
This discovery lead me down the rabbit hole of cymatics and the transformative power of sound on the body and mind. In 2018 I became a certified tuning fork sound practitioner, deepening my understanding of how resonance, frequency and intention affect our well-being on a cellular level 🌀
Yoga remained a powerful anchor in my life and I have practiced many styles, but in 2019 everything changed when I attended my first Kundalini yoga class in Ibiza with Trish Whelan. I was blown away by how this practice could elevate and completely transform your energetic state. I went on to attend multiple retreats with Soul Adventures over the world. Over this period I became Reiki attuned and trained as a Reiki practioner.
For some time, I had felt a growing dissonance within my role as a psychiatric nurse. I longed to work more holistically with people. I knew too much about our innate capacity for deep healing and our ability to tap into latent systems within the body. Kundalini yoga works with the body’s subtle and energetic systems, awakening its own intelligence and self-healing mechanisms. It balances the hormones and glands, regulates the nervous system, and activates higher states of awareness. One day last year, I received an email about Trish’s upcoming Shamanic Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training. As I read through the course content, I felt full-body tingles — I knew in that moment it was a calling ✨
At the end of 2024, I made the leap — Leaving my NHS role to fully embrace this transformational path. Now I am able to combine my clinical background and lived experience to support others in returning to homeostasis - to wholeness. Whether in the DJ booth, on the yoga matt or delivering a treatment, my intention is always the same: to help you come home to yourself 💜
I cannot wait to share this powerful medicine with the world 🌎🧘♀️🕉️

I am the mother of a beautiful five-year-old daughter named Sienna and the wife of my wonderful husband, Alan. Our family resides in the vibrant city of Dublin, Ireland.
Throughout my life, I have cultivated a passion for dance and singing, but what truly ignites my spirit are the deep, meaningful conversations about personal growth and spirituality. Meditation has been a cornerstone of my journey, profoundly impacting my life. It was during one of Trish’s soul adventure retreats in Ibiza that I discovered the transformative power of shamanic Kundalini yoga. This experience marked a pivotal turning point in my life, setting me on a path of profound change and healing over the last couple of years.
My spiritual journey began about 15 years ago, following the loss of someone very dear to me. The pain and grief I experienced were overwhelming, leaving me searching for answers and understanding. I found myself asking essential questions: How can we help ourselves? How do we heal? What tools do we need to navigate through life's challenges? These inquiries led me to explore therapy and psychology, seeking a deeper understanding of myself and the human experience.
Through my exploration, I discovered choice theory and reality therapy, which provided insightful frameworks for understanding our behaviors and choices. This knowledge inspired me to pursue certification in Glasserian psychology, deepening my comprehension of the individuals I teach and allowing me to connect with them on a more profound level.
My passion for yoga, particularly shamanic Kundalini yoga, has been transformative. I incorporate various practices such as meditation, breathwork, and cacao ceremonies into my life. Additionally, I am trained in Reiki, which has enriched my ability to facilitate healing. I create safe spaces for healing circles and workshops, blending these modalities to offer whatever resonates with those I work with.
This journey has been nothing short of profound. I feel a calling to be the best teacher I can be, striving to be authentic and aligned with my soul's purpose. It is my mission to ensure that my students receive the healing, love, and guidance they need at that moment in time. Witnessing the positive impact of my teachings on others’ lives is incredibly rewarding. Seeing the healing unfold before my eyes is a testament to the power of these practices.
I feel particularly guided to teach shamanic Kundalini yoga, as it aligns with my heart’s calling. When we approach life from a place of love and authenticity, we can let go of fear and embrace our true selves. This philosophy not only shapes my teaching but also influences how I navigate my own life. By nurturing this connection with my heart, I believe we can foster a community of support and healing, empowering each other to grow and thrive.
In conclusion, my journey has been one of self-discovery, healing, and growth. I am grateful for the experiences that have shaped me and continue to guide me as I share my knowledge with others. As I move forward, I remain committed to helping others find their paths to healing and self-empowerment, creating a ripple effect of love and positivity in the world around us.

I am also a Creative Arts Therapist.
I was born, bred and raised in the towns-land of Rathpatrick, North County Kilkenny, Ireland. I grew up surrounded by the energy and rhythms of nature in my rural family home, a home that was a known rambling house where neighbours and travellers would gather on a weekly basis to share music, dance and stories. Among these were many natural healers and they would bring with them remedies for the healing of both humans and animals. Some of the remedies were made up of herbs and wild plants in the form of poultices, the knowledge of which had been passed down from one generation to the next, while other remedies were passed from one person to another in the form of an energetic invocation or prayer.
This was to be my first introduction to the natural healing arts and to the mysterious and powerful energy of Shamanism. From this beginning my journey has come full circle. I am now living back in the arms of my ancestral home and land.
Along the way I have travelled, lived and studied internationally, spending some time in the corporate world of the music industry, the recording and performing world of the musician and writer and the colourful creative world of the visual arts.
Another element which has been a mainstay throughout my life, from early childhood right up to the present day is the energy of horses. I found I had a natural affinity with these majestic mammals and over time came to understand that they had as much to teach me as I had to teach them. Like humans, each one is individual and unique, and also like humans, mutual respect is the key to understanding one another and getting along. My relationship with horses, as with art and music is an ongoing adventure, a never ending journey, always in flux, always shifting, always gathering new energy. There is never a point when there is nothing to learn.
All of the above experiences in their own unique way have lead me to the world of Shamanic Kundalini Yoga.
And it doesn't end here, my journey continues.
I come and go, I ebb and flow,
now I am here, now I am there,
now the mirror is clear, now it is not,
now I stumble, then tremble,
now I rise up and trot
now I am sold, now I am bought
now I am hungry, now I am full,
now I push, now I pull,
now I am panther, blackbird, bull,
now I am water, now harder, now softer,
now I'm on fire, now I am smoke,
now I am fixed, now I am broke,
Love and Soul,
Geri 💚

It was like a soft voice inside, asking me to go deeper. I followed this voice and joined many healing retreats with @souladventures, where my soul began to open. These experiences changed me deeply and showed me that I am here not only to heal myself, but also to help others.
I live in Romania, a land full of old traditions and strong spiritual roots. Here, I learned how to connect with nature, the elements, and the spirit of the ancestors. Romanian rituals and the rhythm of the seasons help me understand shamanism in a very deep and real way.
My path was not always easy—it brought challenges and deep lessons. But it also gave me strength, clarity, and a big love for life. Through the retreats I joined, I experienced the power of breathwork, sacred movement, silence, deep emotion, joy, and connection with other souls.
As a Shamanic Kundalini Yoga teacher, I feel called to:
– Support others in their healing journeys
– Guide people to reconnect with their true self and their energy
– Share practices for ancestral healing and soul remembering
– Help women return to their inner power and natural rhythm
– Create rituals and ceremony to come back to the wisdom of the EarthThe name Wellbeing Mentorship came to me as a clear message from my heart. I believe that true wellbeing is not only about the body, but also about the soul. And we all need support—someone to walk beside us, to remind us of who we really are. This is what I offer: not teaching from above, but walking next to you, as a mentor, as a sister, as someone who understands.
Many people ask me what Kundalini Yoga and Shamanic Practice have in common. For me, they are both sacred technologies for awakening. Both speak to the energy of life that moves through us. Both open the heart, expand the consciousness, and connect us with Spirit. In shamanism, we work with the elements, with the Earth, with ancestral memory. In Kundalini Yoga, we awaken the energy within the spine, balancing the chakras and clearing the way for truth to flow. Together, they are a bridge between Earth and Sky, helping us walk fully awake, with purpose and light.
I now offer both online sessions and physical presence ceremonies and classes—so we can meet wherever you are.
What I offer is simple and real. I don’t promise magic. But I offer presence, love, and the space to come back home—to yourself, your breath, your spirit.
Let’s walk this sacred journey together. Let’s remember who we really are!

I'll never forget that shift I felt internally after doing a 7 day retreat with Trish at Soul Adventures. The journey unfolded slowly like a flower with the rhythm of the sun, rooted in the dark soil of lived experience, always reaching toward something far greater. What I love about this practice, is it's not just a practice, but a sacred remembering - a weaving of body, breath, spirit and soul.
Somewhere along the healing way, and after many tried methods, it started to become apparent that is wasn't about fixing what had been broken, rather reclaiming what was forgotten.
I have spent all of my life really listening to the quiet magic of the earth, the pulse of the drumbeat within, the whispers of my guides and the ancient language of the body. It is from these places I now teach, not from performance but presence.
Shamanic Kundalini Yoga is where the wild meets the wise. Where the primal intelligence of nature merges with then divine spark of consciousness. It is a practice of deep transformation - a clearing out, a shedding of skins, a rising. Through breath work, movement, mantra and meditation, we awaken the life force that lives within each of us - the energy of the serpent, the soul, the star within.
As a mother this is a path that began in the quiet ache of seeking a deepening of healing and the call to break generational traumas that were not serving myself or my daughter. I had felt the raw edges of transformation, the intensity of holding another life, whilst still trying to figure out my own and through this right of passage I came face to face with inherited patterns, the silences passed down through bloodlines and the stores my body had been carrying that in fact were never truly mine. From this place is where my teaching and commitment to the practice was born, to teach you to rewrite your own generational trauma, to end cycles of disconnection, within yourself your own soul and others, and to offer my child, Indigo and all those I teach something rooted whole and more sacred.
So welcome to The Indigo Way, a path of soulful awakening where the wild one is welcomed home, where the nervous system can soften and where healing becomes a quiet act of rebellion.
A revolution of the soul.

Rachael's integrated offering brings together movement, ritual, nourishment, storytelling, and community to support individuals on a journey of return: to softness, to the breath, to the Earth, to the body, and to each other.
Through ceremonial yoga, immersive retreats, organic catering, carefully selected tools to support your healing rituals, and narrative-led workshops, The Shepherdess & the Sky offers gentle, grounded guidance. At its heart is a simple truth: the path home to ourselves is already within reach – we may just need a little light along the way.
Launched in 2025 after many years of visioning, this work is not about fixing, but remembering. Rachael walks beside those she supports – never ahead or above – holding a space where people can reconnect with their own knowing.

My journey into the world of yoga began at the age of 14 in Ibiza with my mother, under the guidance of Trish. It was during yoga retreats with Trish when I was older that I discovered the profound impact Shamanic Kundalini Yoga had on my mental wellbeing, igniting a deep love and excitement for the practice. Since then, it’s been a path of ongoing exploration and deepening connection, both with the practice and with myself.
In addition to yoga, I’m also a singer-songwriter and self-taught tarot reader. My relationship with my music helped me to see the benefits of Shamanic Kundalini Yoga on expanding creativity and authenticity, as I would leave the mat with songs flooding into my mind. This is something I love exploring in my own classes; My sessions often blend modern, soothing music with moments of mantra singing or intuitive tarot pulls: small rituals that help us set an intention and open up to insight and our unique character.
Living in London, it’s natural that another one of my core missions is to help people return to a space of safety and peace, helping them restore their own energy to feel more present and joyful. In a fast-moving world, I believe it’s vital to carve out space where we can feel grounded, connected, and nourished. The classes are built around the principle of honouring each person’s own energy and timing, and offering tools to reconnect with their inner wisdom.
My current curiosities include strengthening my relationship with my ancestors and my guides, aligning more and more with the seasons, herbalism, and crystals. I like to tie these practices into my classes through the intentions I set on the altar — and with a nice tea to complement the class!
I don't target a specific audience; rather, I open the space to anyone seeking deeper connection, clarity, and expansion. Whether you’re brand new to the practice or a seasoned seeker, my intention is to meet you where you are. At Velvet Aura, my focus is always on cultivating presence and power — helping others align with their truest self, and guiding them to connect more deeply with their own rhythm and ritual. I’d love to welcome you into this journey, and share the beauty of this practice together.

After finding myself on the mat in one of Trish Whelan’s retreats, I was deeply moved by the transformative capacity of Shamanic Kundalini Yoga (SKY), which led me to become certified. This practice has the capacity to melt away old stories and patterns. It welcomes the body and nervous system to feel more grounded and at peace while awakening greater clarity. The combination of movement, breath work and music without dogma meets you where you are and inspires lasting change.
My life’s work has been centered around deep inquiry and conversation in order to foster change, connection and growth. In my offering, I combine the SKY practice with over a decade of experience teaching writing workshops. My aim is to support you in remembering your innate wholeness and unlocking your unique creativity so that you can be the fullest expression of yourself in the world.
Currently based in Los Angeles, California, I offer in-person and online group classes, programs and retreats here and elsewhere around the world. Private offerings that are tailored to your goals are available as well. As a queer, non-binary/trans person, I am excited to create spaces that are welcoming, inclusive and inspiring to all individuals.
Coming together to practice SKY is a powerful tool for clearing away what is no longer aligned and making room for the new. The world is ready for us to create fresh ways. I look forward to connecting with you to share this uniquely restorative and inspiring experience. See you soon on the mat.

It’s a potent practice, both ancient and forward-facing and unlike more rigid traditions, SKY is inclusive, empowering, and refreshingly free from dogma or guru worship. It invites you to become your own best healer, offering tools that meet you where you are, whether you’re working to clear emotional turbulence, unlock physical challenges or have a desire to reconnect to your spirit, SKY has got you.
My name is Stacey and music is my first love. I progressed from singing into a hairbrush to late nights in London in my teenage years where city clubs turned out to be deeply transformative. The synergy between music and movement was magical, I felt as though I was at the centre of life and culture as it was happening in real time. Dancing felt like medicine, a liberation in spaces that offered a sense of family and finding my tribe. Bodies gathered around dance floors in a powerful combination of sound, rhythm and motion. That passion shaped the path of my professional life, I’ve worked in the music industry for over two decades, launching campaigns for internationally successful artists and experiencing first-hand the power music has to connect and move people emotionally and physically.
Late nights and a load of stress led me to search for something restorative for my mind, body and spirit. SKY has been life changing. It’s helped me manage a rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis, calming flares, restoring balance and reconnecting me with my body in a compassionate, sustainable and independent way. Beyond the physical, it’s offered me a way to navigate modern life which can feel overloaded with information, pressure, and disconnection for all of us sometimes, with grace and groundedness.
Teaching SKY and using sound as a healing modality alongside that (crystal bowls, gongs, and other instrumentation) feels like a natural extension of all I’ve done before. A full circle moment delivered through several turns of the medicine wheel bringing together my love of music, my understanding of energy and emotion, and my belief in the power of community. Each class is a shared experience, an exchange that invites connection, curiosity, and inner clarity. SKY is a practice that links us together, not just as teacher and student, but as people remembering how to feel, breathe, and move in rhythm with life again.
SKY is medicine, movement, and music. It’s both a sanctuary and a spark. I couldn’t be more honoured to share it with you all.
Come and investigate for yourselves.

My path to becoming a Kundalini yoga teacher has been a deeply personal and transformative journey, one that continues to unfold with each breath, movement, and moment of stillness.
I was introduced to Kundalini yoga through my teacher, Trish, whose presence and guidance opened up a doorway into a completely new way of experiencing life. It helped me find joy and peace in the places I once felt lost. It gave me tools to meet life’s ups and downs with acceptance and grace. Through breath, mantra, and movement, I learned to connect with a deep stillness inside – a place that remained steady, even when the world around me felt chaotic.
Kundalini yoga taught me how to truly be – to be present, to be joyful, and to live with an open heart. It empowered me to step into my personal truth, to trust in the unfolding of life, and to walk my path with compassion and love. It’s not always easy, but this practice continually reminds me that there is beauty in every phase of the journey – even in the darkness, there is light.
Now, I feel deeply called to share the magic of these teachings with others. I believe this practice has the power to reconnect us with our essence – with who we really are beneath the noise.
Nature is a huge part of my inspiration and what I love. I feel most alive when I’m near the water, walking on the beach, or immersed in the quiet magic of the forest. I’m incredibly grateful to live in Ibiza, where the land and sea hold such powerful energy. One of my favourite places to teach is on the wooden deck nestled in the forest next to my home – a tranquil space where the trees and birds become part of the practice. I’ll be offering weekly classes in this beautiful spot, inviting you to breathe, move, and connect in harmony with the natural world.
My intention as a teacher is to hold space for others to experience their own inner magic – to awaken to their truth, to remember their wholeness, and to walk through life with more presence, peace, and love.
